Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Hybrid, 2/3 Days On-Site
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Interviews: 2 Stages, 1^st Stage W/C 14^th October

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer to join a dynamic team in Hertfordshire. This hybrid role will require the candidate to be on-site two or three days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Utilise SQL for data extraction and transformation, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Create and optimise DAX queries to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with finance teams to support financial modelling and the analysis of financial statements, including debits and credits.
• Perform data validation and sanity checks to ensure the reliability of reports.
• Assist in the design and implementation of BI solutions that support strategic business objectives.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions accordingly.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with front-end Power BI reporting.
• Strong knowledge of DAX for report development.
• Experience in financial modelling and understanding of financial statements (including debits/credits and sanity checks).
• Proficiency in data modelling, dashboard design and advanced Excel skills.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in a BI or data analysis role.
• A background in a corporate environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Candidates must be able to drive to Buntingford for on-site work.
