We’re working with a growing organisation based in Central London that’s looking to hire a Native Android Developer to join their mobile engineering team.
This is a onsite role, ideal for someone who enjoys close collaboration, hands-on development, and working on high-quality Android applications in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining native Android applications used by a large and growing user base. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver reliable, high-performance mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain native Android applications

Build clean, scalable, and maintainable code

Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Contribute to improving app performance, stability, and UX
Essential Skills & Experience

Commercial experience as a Native Android Developer

Strong experience with Kotlin (Java experience also beneficial)

Solid understanding of Android SDK and modern Android development practices

Experience with common Android architectures (MVVM or similar)

Experience integrating RESTful APIs

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have

Experience with Jetpack components

Knowledge of testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

Experience working in collaborative, onsite engineering teams
