Python / Vue.js Contractor

Location: UK Based – 100% Remote
Contract Length: 12 Months
Rate: £400 per day
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

We’re looking for an experienced Python / Vue.js Contractor to join a long-term programme of work on a 12-month contract. This role is fully remote and open to UK-based contractors only.

You’ll be working on the development and enhancement of modern, scalable applications, collaborating with a distributed engineering team on business-critical systems.

The Role

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python

• Build and enhance user interfaces using Vue.js

• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers

• Contribute to clean, scalable, and maintainable code

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• Support ongoing development across a long-term programme

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Python

• Solid frontend experience with Vue.js

• Experience working in a contract environment

• Comfortable working 100% remotely

• Based in the UK

Desirable

• Experience with REST APIs

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

• Experience working in Agile teams
