About the Role:
We are working with an established software house seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their team on a fully remote basis for a 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting projects within a dynamic team, with flexibility and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and optimize database queries and structures using SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project requirements.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially in a remote setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
