Senior Data Engineer (Databricks) | New York (Hybrid / Client Site) | $180k-$200k

I’m working with a well-backed AI company building for institutional finance. Their clients include some of the biggest names on Wall Street.

They need a Databricks expert to deploy directly with customers. You’d own the build end to end, from ingestion through to the lakehouse (Spark, Delta, Unity Catalog), with no layers between you and the client.

What matters:
* Deep, hands-on Databricks experience
* Comfortable in front of customers, with a consultant mindset
* Bias to ship and ownership of delivery
* AI exposure is a bonus, not a must

The role is hybrid, split between the office and client sites in New York, so it isn’t open to fully remote candidates. You must be a US citizen or green card holder, as sponsorship isn’t available.

Compensation is $180k-$200k base, plus bonus and equity.
